Fly Fishing Courses
We offer fly fishing courses that cover casting, tackle, trout behaviour, the food of trout, flies that imitate that food and how to fish them. We will teach you how to read the water, and how to fish rivers and stillwaters. You will master the technique of fishing the different seasons of the year and how to develop a successful approach to fly fishing. With 38 years of experience fishing the rivers and stillwaters of Otago, Southland and beyond, we have some great expertise to share with you.
Evening Classes
Sessions: 2 hour sessions over a 4 week period, practical last session
Location: Dunedin
Cost: $60 per person
Full Day Classes
Sessions: Designed for groups or fishing clubs with minimum of 6 people
Location: Otago
Cost: $60 per person
Custom Classes
Custom classes covering chosen topics at a time and venue to suit.

Fly Tying Courses
Learn to tie flies suitable for fishing in Otago and Southland areas. We will cover various techniques that will enable you to tackle new patterns on your own. Materials and tools can be purchased at the classes at competitive prices.
